HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE employs the world's first biological diagnostic technology to offer an effective and affordable cancer screening test named N-NOSE. N-NOSE is a cancer screening test that uses highly sensitive olfactory sensory functions of nematodes.

【Business Overview】
HIROTSU BIO SCIENCE is at the forefront of cancer screening technology. Our research and development center develops the next generation of biological diagnostic leveraging the highly sensitive olfactory sensory functions of nematodes.

We are seeking talented and highly motivated scientists to join our dynamic team at our research and development center for next generation technologies. These positions are in research and development for cancer specific identification tests, using nematodes, such as C. elegans. It involves genetic modifications of nematodes, chemotaxis experiments, and statistical analysis of data.
Candidates for these positions are expected to lead their projects, prepare experimental plans, analyze data with critical thinking, demonstrate a clear
vision and understanding of the goals, and leadership to successfully proceed in their projects, in a synergistic and friendly team working environment.
Scientists are expected to occasionally write research papers, report results and present at conferences, along with closely participating in joint research with partners companies.

【Job Description】
•New research and development for cancer type-specific nematodes
•Teamwork, and collaborative research
•Perform genetic engineering-related experiments, chemotaxis assays with nematodes, and statistical analyses
•Preparing experimental plans and reports
•Writing scientific papers and attending conferences (both international and domestic)
•Join research with partners in academia or private sector

待遇

[Salary]
Salary: up to 450,000-500,000 yen/month* (including 30 hours of deemed overtime fee,72,300-96,720 yen)
*Salary commensurates with experience

Transportation fee (max. 50,000yen/month)


[Work hours]
Flextime system 9:00~18:00 (8 working hours/day)
Days off: 2 days off per week, in addition to national holidays, paid vacation, summer holidays, special leave.
